Excellent pics. I always wear a kilt when I attend church. Always a formal 8-yard wool kilt.
On Tuesday I had just come home from court and changed out of my heavyweight black kilt into my Midas leisure kilt when the doorbell rang and who should it be but our church minister come to pay a surprise visit. Apologetically I told her she'd caught me in my skimpiest kilt but she said not to worry as her son often wears casual kilts too!

Congrats on becoming an elder, and a kilted elder is even better
May the Lord bless your work there.

A sharp look for sure. Congrats on your courage to be "different."
Wonder if there's a market for a kilt pin with the motto "Bifurcation is Blasphemy"....in Latin of course.

Very Nice Pictures...I often thought of wearing a kilt to church...I attend Lakewood in Houston (Joel Osteen) and to date, have not seen anyone else wearing one...I think the membership is well over 10,000, so I will definitely get noticed...
Nice looking family too Dave

Same here...other than the one guy that nearly choked on his gum when he saw me! He didn't have a problem with it, he was just surprised. Most of the fun comments have been from the little old ladies telling me how they approve, and talking about their Scottish heritage/connection.
