I am not a big fan of the bluetooth headset. I found them to be bulky and I often forgot to recharge them. I tried for 2 weeks and went back to the wired version or put the conversation on speaker.

Don't get a sound port yet! I have one and many have charging problems. The new model is coming out in a couple months that is smaller, and uses the same custom mold. Of course you can get custom molds for most of them. Ask an Audiologist. I'll be returning mine for the new model when it is released.

Starkey also makes custom music monitors that are fantastic. Once you've had ear impressions made, they are scanned into a system that saves them for use in other pruducts.

You get a custom mold of your ear that then hooks up the headset. I have one of the earpieces from my corporate customer service days, and it is fantastic..

    Boy, I'm with John.

All the years of working on psychiatric wards and mobile crisis when I see a woman "talking to herself" because her hair hides that ear thingie, I drop into that special place one has to go to cope with folks operating at "an altered level of consciousness." Then realize what's going on.

But also having years of being a licensed massage therapist I understand about cramped muscles from scrunching phones between neck and shoulders.

I just heard on public radio that there are cell phone blockers now...tempting....very tempting...but I think the radio said they were illegal.

I gave up a couple weeks ago when I saw a state trooper drive by in his patrol car yacking away on a cell phone.

I love my blue tooth. I use it when driving. I used to get caught in the seatbelt, with the corded ear pieces.

The thing that weirds me out about them, is that until you see one on someone's ear, it's as if the person is talking to themselves. Creepy, really...

Love my Plantronics Discovery 640. It has a AA battery recharger for emergency recharges. Wonderful in the car, work, boring people.
