The reverse Kinguisse is the one for swing. I can get an idea of the effect when walking along our Avenue on dark afternoons as the street lamps throw my shadow in front of me.

Reverse Kinguisse has the inverted pleat centre back and the pleats are as standard knife pleats on the left but reversed on the right.

My UK Original is reverse Kinguisse pleated, if I understand it correctly. My AK is knife-pleated, but with wider pleats than on a traditional kilt.

I have watched my shadow as I walk at night. I used to march in HS band, so had taught myself to walk pretty straight (or so I thought).

I must admit, though, that I'm not as interested in watching a guy's pleats swing as I am in watching a woman's skirt's pleats...

OTOH, my girlfriend seems to like watching me walk.

I think the reverse kinguisse would be the thing to do, because the left side would swing left and the right open to the right, so you'd get great swing on each stride.
The other possibility is that you would get less "swish" in both directions because the swing of the pleats opening in one direction would be cancelled because they are pushing against the pleats that go in the opposite direction
