Thats an awesome looking kilt. My dad was born in Canada so that tartan is definitely on my list. Does it have copyright issues? How come that that tartan isn't widely available in PV or Acrylic by any of our forum kilt makers (hint, hint) in other that special runs?

Sean it is available in PV through Canadian Casual Kilts and obviously Lochcarron weaves it so getting it in either wool or PV does not look like a problem.

Looking good, a sharp looking kilt. I like the warning sign of deer (or is it moose?) in the background of the first picture.

    You are SOOOOO evil!!!!

I already own eight Kathy Lare hand sewn kilts...and you know why...pure quality....the Maple Leaf tartan has been very high on my wish list for a long time.

While waiting for my plastic to get out of intensive care I've found there are a lot of versions of color shading with that tartan....now you've locked my wish list down with a beautiful one in honor of of my family ties to Nova Scotia and British Columbia...and my own time in B.C. And, I think I already own the Lewis Hose in loden green...

I'm assuming they'll let me wear my kilts in the Poor House....
