A walk on the wild side!

It was fun!! My first concern was whether I was dressed properly. I had on a light fleece top tucked in to the kilt, a lightweight Patagonia underwear top under that and a 200 polarfleece vest on top. I put some good hiking socks under the WPG khaki socks and thought about putting on some Patagonia boxers but Indy(the Husky) got antsy and started whining at me saying "Let's go fool! Enough is enough!" Even standing in a stiff breeze, the only parts that did get cold were my knees. The kilt blocked the cold and the wind and at times I thought that I was getting sweaty, but I was wrong. I now know how to dress for our cold weather. Even though it's 20 out the solar energy up at 7-8000ft. is a welcome addition. Thanks to all for the possitive feedback. BTW Ron we are sometimes down in Az. visiting my sister in Flagstaff, next time we should hook up. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Can we see a picture of the weathered Lamont tartan and the beast? sounds like a good combo.
    Thanks
