If you'd like, you can introduce yourself a little bit by starting a thread in the "newbie" section:

Hey now, Rocky. Don't get any funny ideas about that "price increase" thing, okay? Let's just assume they can't control their costs. In all likelyhood the market can't bear the price increase. Yeah, let's go with that...

It's just Rocky, you see as you get older things escape your notice and your memory begans to fail. I suggest you contact Steve Ashton and he can fill you in on all highlights of being a crotchety old kiltmaker...

And if you want to know just how it is to crotchety and old in general, ask me!
It does let you get away with things.
You can ignore people, and they think you didn't hear them. You can walk by the village idiot, and he thinks you didn't see him. You can forget things (on purpose) and people think it's normal. You can remember things you want to, and people are impressed. All-in-all it's pretty good.
You also tend to forget the down-side. Pain, mainly. Or to put it another way, you make pain your friend.

Hmmm, guess I should start putting away a little pain here and there for my old age. Complain while you can, it might get better tomorrow.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…
