Very sharp outfit indeed! There's no way anyone at your dinner could have not complimented you.
Btw, I've been curious for a while as to what your handle stands for. That's a subway line here in NYC.

Thanks for all the comments. The night was a big success, with over $80,000 raised for local charities. Somewhere there are pics of me at the ball with my beautiful wife, who had to leave the house early to help with set up. A friend took those, and I don't have them yet. She still hasn't come around to my going kilted.
Would you mind posting how much the whole jacket and waistcoat conversion cost you? I think it would be good for those considering it to have an idea.
Altogether it was about $225. I used a seamstress to help with sewing, but she only charged $50 (included in the above total). She had never seen a Prince Charlie and went with my sketches and pics donwloaded from XMarks.

It was an old college nickname from intramural football. My name is Duncan, and I guess I charged like a train. The nickname has stuck.

Jacket looks good, as does the rest of the outfit. Well put-together for a newbie! You've learned your lessons well, grasshopper.

An excellent conversion! You look very sharp. For those who are looking for inexpensive alternatives to a PC I think this type of conversion looks the best. Would you mind posting how much the whole jacket and waistcoat conversion cost you? I think it would be good for those considering it to have an idea.
