What is with people, anyway? That's just so wrong on so many levels. I hate it when people cast dispersions in my direction. It always leaves me feeling so - oh, I don't know - scattered.
At any moment you must be prepared to give up who you are today for who you could become tomorrow.

Maybe I'm just in La-La land but it always unpleasantly surprises me when I run across truly numb people. It is so discouraging to discover how many of them there are. It's too bad that your wife had to have her evening ruined however it's like you said; they can't go home and change out of stupid.

I guess you were lucky that your wife witheld the information until after you left...I would have been sent to prison for my actions thereafter as I will never tolerate anyone insulting my wife, and I'm pefectly capable of inflicting serious damage to those who do.

Sometimes, you can go for a walk in the woods and just feel the wonder and design of creation and come back to civilization and be seated beside the best argument against evolution.
Someday, I may be in Chase's position, explaining to the officer, "words failed me, so I hit him."
Probably shouldn't do that. Back to the walk in the woods.

AMEN!
My mother, God rest her soul, always taught me, "if you have nothing good tosay, don't say anything". I have always tried to follow her teaching. But then, she didn't like to drink, either.

Its a pity the restaurant management weren't made aware of it at the time or they could have put these three generations of hopeless rubbish out.
But why bother; these people would never need to cast aspertions about others, but for their own chronic inadequacy.

If you keep your mouth closed some may think of you as an idiot. If you open your mouth they will know. Had these people not said anything, no one would have known they were morons.
We will return to this restaurant, as the food is great. I will, most likely, wear my kilt. But above all, I really don't care when people decide to take it upon themselves to show the world that Morons still live among us.
Thanks you all for your comments. I have calmed down. Peace.
