At first I thought Chef, was joking, but thats exactly what the manufacture says it is.http://www.alphakilts.com/edinburgh.html
Some the design is a little too close to a UK for my personal comfort, but they have added some interesting features and fabric options.
Best regards,
Jake

Well, since kilted men are admired by non-kilted men, and desired by all women, I guess it makes sense!

A number of contemporary kilt companies have had them for years. For example mine are located in the Cargo pockets

Pics while Wearing
Okay...here are the photos of this kilt being worn. I gotta say I really like it!

Taking down Christmas decorations:

I have been in it all day, both working and sitting, and there is hardly a wrinkle.
All in all a great kilt. Very comfortable, very sturdy, and the fabric is very wrinkle-resistant. I think they took the UK idea and made it better.

I went to their website and found no prices, ni lists of colors and/or fabric, and no sizing directions. It lacks info...

GEEZ.....that is one nice looking kilt! I looked at their web site and I love their prices and the features. I wonder where they are located?
Now I really wish I hadn't spent all my money on UKs
I would like to know how these kilts work in the dryer? Does it come out wrinkle-free?

That looks to be a very nice modern kilt. Looking forward to reading a review once you get to wear it.
