It has become one of my favorite insults of all time.

No, "Mirror, Mirror" is the episode where a transporter accident makes the landing party trade places with their counter-parts from a savage alternate universe (afterwards referred to as the 'mirror universe,' a place visited in one episode of TOS, two of Enterprise, and five of DS9).

The episode with the Khoms and Yangs was "The Omega Glory," and the episodes with the grups was "Miri," after the name of the young lady in it.

Really? Because it was the '60s, and she was a black woman, and the writers never thought about the fact that she ranked Chekov and Sulu.

In-story? Because she was a staff officer, not a line officer, which is a significant difference in Naval service.

These are my top favs...I couldn't stop at 5...its illogical to limit oneself!!!

"Mirror Mirror" Spock w/ a goatee...totally cool. Kirk porks both versions of Lt. Moreau.

    "Space Seed" Khaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan

"Balance of Terror" shows my fav. targets...Romulans

    "Amok Time" Spock in rut...fascinating.

"The Conscience of the King" a view into Kirks past and he tries to pork a murderer.

"Errand of Mercy" first Klingon episode, with the DaHar Master, Kor.

"Journey to Babel" Spocks parental units, (Mark Lenard played the Rommie in Balance)

"The Day of the Dove" DaHar Master Kang was the feature Klingon in this one.

"A Private Little War" Hot medicine woman, a Klingon, and the Mugatu...how cool.

"Elaan of Troyius" The Klingon D-7 battle cruiser makes its first appearance. Kirk tries to pork a queen.

"The Enterpirse Incident" Hot Rommie commander and Kirk as a Rommie.

I always figured it was because she was so busy answering the phones.

All three of whom also appeared (with the same actors) in an episode of DS9, as I recall.

This was difficult, but I think I narrowed my list down to five (sort of)

    5. Journey To Babel/The Savage Curtain
I couldn't make a decision of which episode to leave off. I love that Curtain has the various famous leaders of various cultures, the other has Spock's parents, I just can't make a decision.

    4. Amok Time
Come on, we all after reading that have the fight music in our head.

    3. The Naked Time
Come on, crazy Sulu running around the Bridge with a sword? Classic

    2. City On The Edge of Forever
This may be the episode the grips you the most emotionally in the entire original series.

    1. Space Seed
He was a king once...with POWER over MILLIONS.

One that should get a HUGE nod in the meaning behind it is Let That Be Your Last Battlefield, it's so true with our nature it's a frightening mirror.

Take Dartanion here to the sickbay.

One of the only recurring characters in the original series outside the crew (such as Lt. Riley), and one of my favorites. Listen to me carefully, Norman: I...am lying.
