I have seen this sellers store and considered buying some material. Seeing the quality up close may sway me.
This seller is sound. I had two lengths from him recently (not sure what I'll do with them, but that's my problem). Quality was excellent.

I'm surprised you are talking about a seller. I always thought Messrs Peter MacArthur of Hamilton referred to an ancient closed down Mill. The Tartan finder mentions this name for a Couper Family tartan with the date : 1886 . Matt, if you read this, I'm sure you could clear this up for us. Thank You. Robert
Robert Peter MacArthur of Hamilton closed their factory some while ago. So I think the e-bay seller must have bought left over stock. The quality is certainly very good. Martyn
