Patent agent. I write patent applications for inventions and get paid to argue with bureaucrats. I first got into patents as a researcher, and did that for many years before I qualified as a patent agent, but now I've done this for quite a few years as well.

At one time I used to be a radio interference engineer in a test lab.

I also 'pumped gas', sorted letters in the post office and did stocktaking in news kiosks as gainful employment, before I graduated college as an electrical engineer.

I work in the Administrative Sservices area for a large investment firm based in St . Louis, Mo. with office located thru out the United States, Canada, and the U.K. I operate and maintain IBM Infoprint 4000 Main Frame Laser Printers.
I will start my 14th year this coming September.

I work for the US Department of Commerce's, Office of the Secretary office of Financial Management as a systems accountant. My office is developing/maintaining the Departments Accounting system. My main area is program management doing all those reports no one else wants to do or read.
