We had a beautiful day for the opening. Sunny, mid-seventies. Prices everywhere were a little higher than normal, and crowds were, frankly, down. The joust was all new for this year, and was rather funny. I enjoyed it. If you're looking for kilt accessories, good luck. Save your bucks for the highland games. Otherwise, not bad, though I'm glad we didn't pay full ticket price.
