    It's the same in Idaho. At least it was when my Step Grandmonster ran one. They are called "Idaho State Liquor Dispensary stores" I don't think you need a prescription. You might look into mail order. Adrian Oregon to your west might have a real liquor store.

    Arlen, perhaps you can tell us which of the 50 states you plan to be in. It would help in narrowing down an answer. For example, here on the West Coast there is a popular chain called "Beverages and More" (BevMo) which has an increasingly large selection of single malts.

    We're spoiled in Houston, we have 'Spec's" one of the worlds largest liquor stores! They have damn near everything! order on-line here;
