I think I could put up with all manner of silly questions, provided they came from a redhead. Ohh, and I'm in on the authorization card. Maybe Matt or Barb can include one with our kilt purchases?

We seem to have licenses for all kinds of things these days which we have to show to competent and authorised authorities.

But this lady would have no right or need to see my driving license so why should she have to see our kilt ones either?

Seems like the glimmer of an idea there.......a kilt wearers authorization! But who would issue it? or have the authority to sign it?

I think we should come up with a nifty certificate of Kilt Authorization. With a wallet sized, laminated photo card and lapel pin to go with it.

Of course Alan, as soon as we have our Authorizations we're gonna ban you just for confusing us with that title.

Could pin them to the underside of the front apron, and tell them if asked "yes, I'm authorized, but if you want to see the card you'll have to lift & peek"

We'll have to check with the Kilt Police. After all, they have all the answers.

Cool story, sure there will be more conversations with her in the future for you. About the authorization card, sounds like a fun idea, and official "X-Marks the Scot Authorization to Wear the Kilt" card

    Hmm... readheads with freckles
