Even more, which looks like an "odd" clothing item?

Could also be because I have longer hair. Anyway, I probably would've done what Hamish has suggested many times and worn the hose rolled down with my boots, but it wasn't that warm today. Was only in the mid 50s, so I did wear it up.

Those aren't shorts, they're unbloused bloomers.

Each to his own, but I just don't like the bare legs with the kilt.

The kilt is worn pretty uniformly with the hem at the top of the knee to mid knee. To be shorts the hem is FOUR (4) inches ABOVE the knee. I see over wide capri panst in tan. (ugly).

Ahhh, DarkIslander, I agree up north, but down here in the canyonlands and the desert you'd change your mind around 80 degrees F and above...

Makes little sense to wear the kilt in 100+ degree F heat to cool off then to pull on a pair of kilt hose.
