Hello from Italy!

So here I am,
a new newbie in "kilt posting" on this forum! lol

Few words to explain who I am to the community:
40yo, bass guitar player, ex football player (not the soccer, the USA football) here in Italy, I work as a consultant and trainer in communication for public administrations and private companies.
I think that I've always been in love with Scotland since I've heard and seen about it. Some years ago I succeeded in travelling in the Highlands for two weeks (especially in the MacKay country) and I loved it.
So I started to surf the web searching books and information about Scotland history, traditions, clans and so one.
Last year I was drinking a beer with a frined and I was telling him informations about Scotland.
Suddenly he asked me: "did you buy a kilt during your travel?". I stopped talking and said: "No, I had no sufficient money... but I can buy it now!"

I run to home and bought my first Sportkilt Black Watch. Few weeks later I bought even Two amerikilts and three SWK.
I started to wear them when I play my bass guitar, but few weeks after I started to wear them usually but not at work, only because I can't do my job kilted for a question of formality.



Every time I can I wear my kilts because I feel a great sense of freedom that trousers cannot give me, even because my dimensions are bigger than usual.

Now I will try to loose some weight and I hope I will have to change all my kilts, so stay tuned!

(I know in one pic I have a very short kilt... .. It is due to an error in hemming it... I don't wear it anymore. LOL)
I think I will find some new friends here!
