I hope, with that busy schedule, that you're able to make it!

While small, it was a great little meetup today. It was great meeting CelticSire, and we bumped into another kilt-wearing gent. Hopefully he and his friend will join XMTS soon.

Looking forward to the next meetup!

I have to tell you, lads, Cynthia is prettier in person than her avatar suggests. And Chris is a wonderful gent in his own right - had a blast talking with them.
"My beloved America, thank you for your children. If your children want to become soldiers I will train them. When they are hungry I will feed them. When they are thirsty I will give them water. When they fight for freedom I will lead them. When they are unsteady on the battlefield I will motivate them. If they die on the battlefield I will bury them. So help me God."

Awww, thanks so much!
It was wonderful meeting you and a wonderful surprise to meet Glen as well! It was a blast standing together, listening to music, having a couple drinks, and chatting away. I thought about getting some photos of the three of you chatting more casually and less posed, but with the tables in the way and the crowds I wasn't sure if I'd be able to do it without annoying some of the other folks listening to the band and having a drink/meal. Plus, it was so loud, it took me a while to find out if everyone was okay with me taking and posting photos (I like to check first).
I really look forward to more meets and chatting with others. It was a blast discussing kilts and accessories, and for anyone else reading... all three kilts are Stillwaters! The economy, the wool (I can't remember what it's called on the page), and the standard. If another person had shown up in a thrifty, that would've been great.
And yes, I definitely need to get some kilted skirts and sashes. I'll get there We have some other things to take care of first, but trust me... I'm wanting several. Mwahahah!
A great time, definitely!

I guess we could have started a new Photo thread, but I didn't know how everyone was going to be doing the photo thing in here. Since we only had one photo and a small meet, I really couldn't see starting a new thread. I worry a little about flooding the forum and making it hard to see the actual meet threads. Especially for those that don't have large groups in their area.
