Aye, Happy Saint Patrick's Day lads.
Party hearty, but take care. St. Patrick's Day is always the #1 day for DUI arrests in the U.S. Use a designated driver, a cab, or public transportation.
Each one of my four grandparents has an Irish line. Emailed my brother and sisters and cousins and nephews and nieces that reminder. We come from County Louth, County Monoghan, Dublin, and where ever the Doyles are thickest. Haven't been able to prove the Doyle line but it doesn't take a genius to figure out it probably goes back to Ireland.
So decisions, decisions...tartan or saffron....?

We started celebrating early in Westminster. Friday night was the Barleyjuice concert in town, then on the Parade in Baltimore City on Sunday. Conditions on Sunday were wind and cold. I always plop my chairs tight across from the reviewing stand where all the dignitaries sit. Great Parade. lasted quite a while. Happy St. Patrick's Day to all.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all!!
I'll be wearing my Irish National today to classes. My students are now starting to expect me to be kilted on Fridays and most are surely waiting to see me today (of course that is to see me kilted, not that they are anxious for the test coming up today on Of Mice an Men.) Have a good one! And like Riverkilt said, "Be safe" there are a lot of amatuers out there, especially today.

My father used to do that to me when I was a kid.
I was the only boy in the whole school (350 kids) wearing only green.
I felt very lonely, vulnerable and confused.
