Thanks for the feed back guys,,, and I thought the same thing about maybe there was some soap still in the material making it look that way but once it dried ,, you could tell the color was just gone... I did include three pictures with the email I sent the UK guys. And Im not trying to be a whinner,,, if the answer is they just fade bad well then ok..

That looks like more fading than you should expect. It's possible they got a bad dye lot, it's happened before. It also looks like it may be soap residue as already suggested. Detergent mixes less well with cold water, and is more likely to stick around.
As already suggested, run it through a soak and rinse cycle without any detergent and see what happens. At the worst, it fades more and you really aren't anywhere different.
Cheer also makes a detergent specifically for dark fabrics to help prevent fading. You may want to look into that.

I did that very thing this afternoon I went to Target and bought some Woolite (dark care formula) and had the same results.

That sucks. I'm looking forward to getting my Workmans, but it won't be black (now).
I'm guessing it's just a bad dye on a random happening. They are very good at what they do, and am sure it will get sorted out.
Cheers

weird . . . I have had mine for 9 years or so, many washings, usually with the rest of my clothes in warm.
Still hasn't faded . . . for that matter neither have my black carhartt's overalls . . .

They are just celebrating their 8th anniversary this year, and it took a while for the workmans model to come out so it can't have been quite that long. Still, point taken. I've had mine for about four or five years and it has barely faded.

Thanks again for all the feedback,, its nice to post on a forum where people are helpfull and friendly not " DID YOU SEARCH BEFRORE POSTING!!!!!" I did hear from a guy that's a UK reseller and he said the black and chocolate WMs have very different fade patterens than any of the other UKs. Give them a call, that will be quicker. I have had mine about 2 years and it is fading naturally, but looks dirty.
