Looking good. Still plenty of snow around there. I once hiked to the top, in June, and the path disappeared into the snow near the top, where it also turned misty - was glad I had brought along a compass.

Great pic! One of these days I'll snap one of our highest local mountains.

Thanks for that, Jock. I have never seen Ben Nevis 'in the flesh', but hope to do so when Jim and I come up there the first week in June.
Take care,
Ham.

Will you also be near Dumfries that first week of June? I'll be camping in Castle Douglas with my Dad that week but will be making a trip to Dumfries at some point during that week since it's so near.

Wow, that is a rare sight seeing the whole of the mountain with no fog/cloud cover. Thanks for the pic.

Aye, Arlen. We're staying at The Ferintosh for the night of Sunday June 1st en-route to Oban, Mull, Glencoe, Fort William, my wee estate in the Braes o' Lochaber (!), Pitlochry and Tayside. Then we're back at The Ferintosh on Saturday 7th June, arriving late afternoon both times. There's been no mention yet (of which I am aware) of any form of kilts night or pub crawl but, knowing Robertson ............... !
It would be great to meet you at last, if our dates fit in with yours.
Take care,
Ham.
