I've soaked the coyote face in some warm water and borax to soften it enough to get it to lay flat. It's drying now in the shape I want so the nose isn't all crooked over and the ears are laying down to the side. The ears will be a little 3D when the sporran is done.

We are making the all leather one first as the construction will be the same but it won't have the added problems of working with the fur. When the technique is perfected on the leather, we'll move to the fur sporran as well.

I took some more picture last night but I am waiting to really update until we get some appreciable progress made. I think this sporran is really going to be nice. It'll roomy, lay well, and made from some pretty tough leather. I can't wait until it's all done. (hopefully this week)
