I've been wanting to get out to that restaurant. The 24th should work fine. Are we talking lunch or afternoon drinks/dinner?

The place fills up fast on nice days. I would say we should get there early it opens at 12:00 so the earlier the better. They have table service to the beer garden for food, but you have to go to the bar for drinks.

Looking at the website, it seems more that there will be live traditional Czech and Slovak music and events for the day. PLUS, people will be attending in their national dress. What better time to go kilted??

It is going to be crowded any weekend during the warmer months. As the last Beergarden left in the city and being reasonably priced, it is a BIG hit with the college crowd.

I don't think that there are enough establishments for a bar crawl in that immediate neighborhood, if any. Astoria is a very family oriented part of the city.

Sorry I did not look at the events for that weekend. I would say we should put the beer garden off till a weekend when it is more open. With an event going on it will be to crazy. I use to live in the area there are a few pubs but not the best, so I would say we change the plan.

I'm in, and probably the wife as well. Just out of curiosity, is anyone interested in trying to make a crawl of it? Not that we have had the best of luck with organizing pubcrawls. But where there's a will...
