    This same question was asked in another thread on the same topic and I believe one of the x-arkers called scottishlion and got it directly from them that the white ones are mostly acryllic but all the colors, if I remember correctly, are something like 70% wool with acrylic/nylon/spandex filling the rest.

    I have the white as well as all the colors and the colors are definitely wool (my wife is allergic and can tell from her first touch). Great deal on a nice looking pair of hose. I would buy more if htey came in more colors. In lieu of that happening, I will probably invest in a few pairs of STM's somewhat more expensive Lewis hose which come in the full rainbow of hues from which to choose.

    I got some from a place called Pollock Highland Source on e-bay. Good hose, decent price. They are my favorites it if is really chilly.
