Granted I am not kilted, perhaps I need to buy a utility-kilt. Last weekend and this weekend I ended up tearing out some old shelves in the garage and installing two new shelving units. The old shelves were sagging so bad I do not think a mouse could have crossed safely. As you can see these are very strong and secure shelves.
It was a simple but fun project, because I was able to use my nail gun, Skill saw and improve the functionality of the garage and gain much needed storage space, and I am sure the entire project was less expensive than if I were to try to use those fancy aluminum or steel shelving kits.
Here I am nailing the last of the boards down.
The mandatory self-portrait in front of the project.
The finished project, now I just have to move my boxes from the basement to the garage.
