It was a glorious and pleasant evening that, as usual left me weak and begging for more.

I think you were right not to go to Limerick Junction. The musician was not overwhelming. In fact you could hardly hear him for the crowd. He played less than Celtic standards such as "Puff the Magic Dragon," "House of the Rising Sun," and was starting on "Country Roads" when a drunk girl tried to lift my kilt. She tried to excuse it by claiming to be Irish. I won't repeat what I said, but it was flattering neither to the Irish generally nor her specifically.

So, based on my reconaissance, I recommend Spotted Dog on North Avenue. It's centrally located, quieter, fewer loud drunks other than us), no bad music, fewer drunk women lifting kilts. (As I recall, they are more well mannered there. They just crawl under them.)
