    piper hose

    I will echo what others have said about Piper hose. I too have long thin legs and can EASILY get a double fold in the piper hose. Here is the link where I got mine:

    Echo the recommendation of the piper's hose from scottish lion. white ones are mostly acrylic but the several other colours available are actually predominantly wool (like 70%) and they are only $22US a pair with free shipping over $100. I am 6'5" 270 lbs and I can get mine about 5 inches above my knees when completely unrolled, allowing for two good 2-3 inch roll downs to get below my knees and well over my flashes. And the bubble tops are just too cool.

    Also Scotweb has some interesting patterned hose in their country hose area which are very long and also very stretchy for the calves----a bit more expensive in the 40-60 buck range however, but very unique.
