Looks great for a first attempt with no sewing experience.
Now get started on the next one.
After the first few it gets easier and they just get better each time.

Nicely done! And you wear it well! How heavy was the material that you used?

    Thank you!

My fiance liked it a lot. I'll leave it at that. I think I'm going to make her an Xskirt out of the extra. I just need to draw up a reversed sketch so I can read it and not get confused.

My oldest brother also wants one in a dark "army" green.

My other brother kept trying to look up it (yeah... we're pretty close... not THAT close..)

Got a lot of ideas in mind. I was even thinking of trying to make one out of the material that basketball shorts are made of. That would be GREAT for around the house and sleeping in. If I decide to, I'll be sure to post pictures.

Wearing it was my first kilted day out. Got a few weird looks from the fellas and children, but women seemed to love it. I've yet to wear it to work. That'll be interesting. I got lots of remarks when I pierced my ears (since removed.)

Apologies for the poor quality. It was a cell phone picture. I was also blinking at the time which doesn't help any.

I love the color. It's got a nice hint of green in it. I believe the material was around 12oz. The bolt wasn't labeled but comparing it to other materials nearby when I picked it out, it seems to be such.
