Thank you The F-H.C.A.G. I think I'd like cargo pockets on my kilts, so I don't have to worry about a sporran (I only have 1 sporran). I just saw your corduroy Xkilt thread. It's fantastic. Thanks for the pictures of its progression!!
I'm currently making 3 khaki Xkilts (1 for me and 2 friends). I'll post pics when done...

Yes, I have the same problem. Next time I'll make wider apron and more A shaped. that should calm it down.

Can you explain a little more about this problem? I'm not sure what is happening, though I have had trouble at that point myself.
On the kilts I make for myself I find that at the edge of the apron, where I have shaped it, the middle layer of the under apron pleat emerges past the edge of the apron. This is with the fabric being folded level along the waistline.
To counter this I raise the inner fold of the pleat up very slightly, so that there is a slender triangle of fabric raised above the waistline. That pulls the fabric back into line at the edge of the apron.
Is that similar to what is happening on your kilt?

The problem is mostly the leftmost bottom edge of the front apron wanting to curl up (which I hear is a common problem).

As a sew-er, I have encountered instances where the side seams of skirts want to curl up, but only on one side, or where one collar wants to curl up while the other lies flat. Turns out that there was a simple solution for my issues that might also help you.
Directional sewing. You may have to sew the pleats all in one direction (from bottom to top) or sew one seam in one direction and the opposite way on the other side. Anyway, I know that directional sewing helps other garment sewing, this tip might work for the apron.

Excellent work. I especially like the detail work on the cargo pocket.
Enjoy!

Thank you for your encouraging, positive comments.
Here's a two-tone cargo pocket that I made for Kilt#3:
