That looks like the black Stewart. I am also interested in what type of fabric..
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Hey, I think I got the same fabric from Joanns. It looks good. You're kilt is shaping up too -- looking forward to seeing the finished product.
I believe it's a lightweight polyester/rayon (or AKA polyviscose or PV).

Yes it is a lightweight PV. It should be great for the FL heat.

Be sure to name the tartan before wearing it... I'm a big fan calling fashion tartans Mac____ (insert non-scottish last name). For Example, MacTrumble (the more ironic, the better).

    Talking Done....YEAAAAAAAAA!

Hey all, well I finished this morning. I had to put it on the back burner for a few weeks to finisher up some other stuff. But I dove in the past couple of days, and I am done. I wore it to work tonight, lots of great comments. It's not hand stiched but, I do not have the talent for that yet. Well enough blah blah, here are the pic's.

I am very happy with how well it turned out. A huge thanks to sirdaniel1975 for a couple of home visits to help........Now what to do next.....I smell a trip to JoAnns.

Opps should have pulled my belt up, sorry kilt Police.
