Ian,
Very good on you. The kilt looks very sharp, and seems well balanced. i hope you get many years out of it.

As a fellow owner of that same tartan, you sir, look FANTASTIC! I only own one tank and that is the one. I do have the hunting version on my wish list, one day..........

If anyone is interested in a bit of history regarding the MacGregor tartans, here is an article written by Sir Malcolm MacGregor, Chief of Clan Gregor: http://www.clangregor.org/article-ourtartans.html

That is a great looking kilt!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Good luck with finding your next tartan, I've chosen to try to whittle it down to two tartans for two tanks: black/gray compatible tartan tank and brown compatible tartan tank...
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Awesome tank! I am jealous...I come from the Macadam family which is typically noted as a MacGregor sept.
My first kilt was a military Black Watch 18 oz which I got a great deal on, but I am saving up for the family colors some day soon.
Seeing yours tells me it's time to start saving more!
