This is a wonderful set of pics Sara. These games look to be a really huge event. The Glengarry Games even merited a report in our local newspaper here in Scotland this week by virtue of Scocha performing there as headline band in the tattoo. The report says the Glengarry games are the biggest Highland Games in North America, I wonder if they are also the biggest in the world.
Here is a link to the article in the Hawick News website:-

I have to add Glengarry Games to my Must Visit list.

Sara,
Thank you for bringing us along to the Glengarry Highland Games.
Even though you had rain at the end part of me marvels at the idea of something other than blistering heat for a Highland Games.
Cheers

Thanks for the article Alex. I was waiting for my friend to send me pics of the evening part of the Tattoo. My camera did not do well for evening pictures. Scocha was very good. They did a wonderful song about the pipers of WW1.
If you ever do make it over for the games, keep an eye out for the MacArthur table and say hi!

Compared to the bright red color I have been known to sport after a day at a Highland Games you look wonderful.
Speaking of wonderful

My compliments on a great ensemble! You did our forum proud. It made me smile to know you were a MacArthur as my friend Gryphon (ocassional poster Gryphonaire here on XMTS) is one as well. The first kilt I ever wore was his MacArthur tartan one at a company function!
Cheers
