Beautiful cat! My siamese, Nanny MacPhee, "inspects" my great kilt everytime I lay it out to pleat. This makes pleating it difficult...pulling the material with a cat walking on it. She also thoroughly inspected the two skunk sporrans I made.

My cat Tigger used to love laying in my lap when I was wearing a kilt. Only the wool ones, though-

Ours also like polyviscose. A new kilt cannot be said to be broken in properly until it has cat hair on the apron!

Mosby may occasionally interfere with my pleating the belted plaid, but afterward she's happy to help me press it:

My two cats are dumber than rocks. I should say, My wifes two cats are dumber than rocks.

My five cats (ok, my wife's) are dumber than dirt. One bites me, one pisses on the carpet, one hides, one screams for dinner, ok one is ok (still playful kitten but really a teenager). The rest of my wife's cat's can take a hike (except my wife would be out all night and day looking for them).

More power to folks who have use for felines... I have none.

Sorry to break it to you, but cats like laying, anywhere, everwhere, on kilts, on my head, on the floor (where they belong)...

Tried that once, didn't work, at least not with our two domestic short-hairs. However, I have been told that there is a breed of Scandinavian cat whose hair has the proper scales to be spinnable. Anyway, just ask any cat, they AREsuperior beings!

I just see walking sporrans. I wouldn't do it, but they just look so soft... and roomy.

You'd never guess it from my avatar but we are cat people, up to four now that we have consolidated households with my mother. Each cat has staked off one corner of the house and all hallways are DMZ (complete with periodic saber rattling).
