I, too, have a TFCK kilt suit, and am very happy with it.

Oh dear! Ham is getting his fans all worked up again!

The staff shall have to have words with him, we are running out of smelling salts...

    Wonderful kilt suits Ham!

    Cheers

    Hamish,

How well do the 11 oz. and 12 oz. kilts hold pleats and resist wrinkling?

I am interested since I recently got some nice 11 oz. tartan but am reluctant to have a kilt made of it, since some say only the heavier weights are worth it.

Sorry, Gilmore, I somehow missed your post earlier.

Actually, those two weights of fabric do crease rather easily and so I have to be particularly careful when 'sweeping', but they are regular suiting materials and unwanted creases do drop out of the grey pinstripe kilt - in time! The newer navy with white pinstripe suit is definitely vulnerable though, but I like it so much I am prepared to take more trouble with its care.

I have to agree with everyone who likes the latest country tweed suit - it is definitely my favourite, but then it is more suited to daily wear than the more formal pinstripes.

    Thanks for your interest.

    Take care,
    Ham.

Wonderful photos Ham thanks for posting them all together, although I fear Jamie might be right the smelling salts are running low.
