What Not to Wear Kilt-shopping spree?

LOL, I was thinking "I should nominate my husband for that show, tell him that if he's picked to go to a kiltmaker in New York first (Brown Brother Harriman & Co. was the only one that sounded like they make traditional kilts that I found doing a websearch) buy a kilt or two or three..., a jacket, and several hose, and then appease them."

I figure the worst they could do is give him a corney haircut--which I can easily cut or buzz off.

So us lasses can nominate our men and send them kilt-shopping in New York. The only forseeable problem with this is that some of you lads may end up without facial hair...

That's brilliant!! I retract my earlier statement. I want them to tell me what to wear- if it will net me $5k to spend on kilt stuff.

LOL! I'm with you there Ted. I wonder how many other blind kilties there are out there pestering their mates for confirmation. "I know it's brown, love but what shade of brown..."

I don't have one of those, so I have to spread the pestering out across a bunch of different people. I'm still probably annoying with it, but I need to know if it is brown or red-ish brown: gees!

Yes, long hair is a contintious issue. I have worn my hair both long and short at different times because of the work I was doing. I pull mine back in a ponytail, but that is still contintious.

On the other hand many people, young and old, have been telling me they like my long hair more than when it was short... Go figure.

It seems to me that those shows are all about conformity. Conform to the short hair, clean-shaven look, and you'll look better, they say. Well I say, fooey on 'em. I look fine as I am, thanks very little.
