If they ever make a UK natural white Workman's again you could wear it caving and let it be colored by the cave mud. Then you'd have a true caver's kilt.

...at first I read the title as "carving" in a kilt and then wondered why you didn't have some sort of wood in your hands in the first pic. Hooray for reading comprehension.
