Mc Murdo, if you would be so kind, where did you find the hose in the first picture? The ones with the Cross of St. Andrews? I really like those.

Yep as soon as I opened it I knew which one that was! Very one I am looking at Seems my family has MacPherson ties through both my mother (Smith) and my father (Currie) lines. I have three swatches from Geoffrey (Tailor) that I hoped would make the choice easier lol. The Red Modern that they sent me is not as loud as your's McMurdo, in fact in the right light, the blue seems almost black. But it is from Geoffrey's own mill.

Part of it just maybe the lighting, however I am very happy with the MacPherson that I have. The other consideration is that my kilt is made from Poly-Viscose.

You can get those from Peter at Canadian Casual Kilts his user name here is MacHummel shoot him a PM. Mine came from Redshank's Scotland, but were part of a promotion a while ago.
