It's actually our Christmas Holiday party. When you work at a hotel, it's difficult to schedule a Holiday party amongst all of the other holiday parties that we host. It's just easier to do it after the mad rush is over.

I'm real curious to see the reactions of my fellow associates. I've worked here for 6 months and none of them, except my manager whom I've worked with at another property, have seen me kilted. I'm real excited.

I was thinking that the sporran should be a bit lower.

So, the party went quite well. There were about 300 people in attendance. There were many, many positive comments, and several people asked to have their picture taken with me. Even the next day at work I was still receiving comments and questions. It was a big hit, and I'm so glad I decided to wear it.
