Yes, pretty windy indeed, but the walk along the tree lined path up the lakeshore was pretty sheltered.

Didn't want to hijack your thread. I'm waiting for Obuchiteck to post pics. I was blown away. I arrived a the pub and there were 8-10 kilted guys - I was amazed. But they kept coming until there were more than 30. And when they were ready to move to the next pub, someone blew a whistle and they all moved. I only made it through three pubs before I went home (they were planning to close the bars). Great camaraderie, a few bawdy songs, good conversation.
