I read that article yesterday morning and, after having thought about purchasing a kilt (or a UK, whatever) for months I went out and bought two UKs at Rainbow Gardens at the mouth of Ogden Canyon.

Today I am going to shovel snow and go to Costco. What do you think, black or tan?

I'm new here so I'll post a proper introduction in the newbie thread.

Great article, an AA friend up in SLC just emailed it to me.

    Ya done good lad!!

With this and the apparent surge of interest from LDS folks in tartan kilts Utah may become a heartland of kilting ere long.

Loved the article. However, I'm not too sure about the baggage that the reporter says goes with wearing a kilt. Normally, it's drunks who ask. Doesn't happen much to me.

    Smile

I just got a copy of the paper from my parents and brought it to the school I work at. I glued it to some poster board and laminated it. I then taped it to my door so that any student that walks by my room or goes into my room will see the picture of the guy in the Utilikilt and the words:

    “Got Brawn? Wear A Kilt.”

    I love it!
