You know, I always thought Navy Pier would be a great place for a kilt shop. I mean, Chicago's first white settler was a MacKenzie, we have a good rabble here-and a good amount of kilties outside the rabble, Navy Pier is Illinois' largest tourist draw, and it's across the street from me. Mostly the last one.

Pennsylvania has one of the oldest (age) populations in the USA. Second only to Florida.
It used to be WWII era folks, but may likely be holding firm for Boomers.
I don’t know if it is still true, but in the 1980 Census Pennsylvania had more persons who lived and died within fifty miles of their birthplace than any other state.
Good News: As of 1990 for every tax dollar levied in Pennsylvania only $0.04 was spent on administration. One of the lowest ratios in the nation.
Bad News: That excludes property taxes for schools (a continuing and heated debate).
