Thank you 1munk.
Indeed - he tells me that this is his favorite kilt. He has dozens of them. (I've seen only a few).

Well done
One thing though, you might let him know to wear his sporran just a tad lower, it will look better.
Cheers

Jamie,
You know, I keep thinking about how he got that sporran to sit so high... It might because I opted out of putting belt loops in the back. I don't think they're necessary at all, especially given that he has about 4-5 inches of taper. In any case, I'll ask him when I see him in April - I can handstitch it on at the convention (a la Barb during in-between competition sessions.
Speaking of which, the guy I made the reverse-K denim kilt will likely be there as well. There's a thought, I'm going round up all the guys that I made kilts for and we'll have a big group photo! Many of them are square dancers.
Woohoo!
(The wheels in my head , they are a-turnin'.)

Looking good, one happy and proud owner with his new kilt, you made a grand job of it.

Thank you cessna. He sent me a letter saying how he's proudly going to be wearing at the kilt at his various events in FL.

Thank you Tatonka. He (John) is pleased and he's already told me he's interested in a couple more kilts. Woohoo.
One of which is the Jewish Tartan. I'm trying to figure out how to do that. I know their website but they only (appear to) finished kilts and I don't know about just yardage. I should ask them. The second one, I doubt that its tartan exists (it's got black, blue, gray, white and red).
I'm quite proud of my effort on this tartan.
Tatonka, have you seen my denim xkilt yet? And some progress pictures here.
Thanks for following my kilt creations! As well, thank you McFarkus.
Slàinte!

Please excuse my ignorance, but can some one enlighten me to the significance, if any, of the Bear tartan?
