This has perhaps been discussed before, (although I could not find a thread specifically about this,) but, what's the deal with the diamond shape buttons on black argyll jackets? Seems like some folks hate them, but that's all I ever see. I just bought an argyll on-line and it has the chrome diamond shape buttons with the thistle design. Is there another option? Black buttons? Pewter?
