Don't want to be argumentative, but there is a whole lot of east coast below Virginia that is not affected.

Sorry Brian - I could have use more specific geographical terms, and avoided the use of "practically" in describing it. Atlanta, for one, is not on the coast.

Ahh, but parts of Florida, Georgia, South and North Carolina all have the same weather. Just maybe not the coast itself.

My next door neighbor was pretty disgusted this morning as they had planned to leave today to drive to Charleston, SC for a vacation. After the plows came through and the driveways were shoveled they packed up and left but more than a bit late. :crap:

Another picture. This one is of one of my wife's Bostons plowing through the snow.

I would argue that it's not being pummeled. I have seen pummeling in this area and this ain't it.

I rather like it when it snows and people stay home. It's some of the easiest driving during those times.

LOL. I hear you - but my short term memory of this winter is enough to let me use "pummel".

What's with me getting overexcited by this snowstorm, what with using strong terms like "practically" and "pummeling." Feeling overly dramatic (or romantic perhaps)...

Yes, it was a joy to drive in DC at 7:30 am with practically no traffic whatsoever!!!

Having lived at Fort Bragg in N. Carolina for some years I know how that place must be paralized. I saw 4 inches of snow lock up the town completly once.

Do people who live in areas of greater snowfall tend to own taller dogs?

Should I take a poll only with certified measurements or be prepared to accept hearsay evidence?

There was less than an inch here in Carlisle PA, but there was much more further to the east and south. I get into the Washington DC area frequently, rain can cripple that area, so a few inches of snow will have much more of an effect.
