While I have heard of them, I'd say it's more a North American phenomenon. Personally I have no desire to put a ring on my toe, that also goes for wearing sandals and a kilt with no hose.

Jeez Louise...would have thought there were some out there...at least in the Southern climes.
Tell you what, sandals with a kilt is the only way to survive in the heat...figured there might be some Celtic toe ring guys out there...
Never thought of my little brother cop as a fashion progressive sort of guy....amazing...
Good point about the man bag though...as comfie as I am with a kilt I hesitate to add a possibles bag for fear it'd look too much like a handbag...we are so brave to wear the kilt then demure at toe rings and man bags...ain't we a silly lot??

Nope. I have worn sandals with my pleated canvas, man skirt, though.
I do keep threatening to go get earrings, but I don't even wear rings on my fingers... It's a potter thing.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

I wear Tevas with my kilts pretty frequently. The only jewelry I will wear is a wedding band (not even a watch) so it's safe to say I won't be wearing a tow ring.

I will wear sandals with a kilt in the summer. Wear an earing, sometimes a rather large celtic cross, have a ponytail. But noooooooooooooo toe rings!!!Guess you got to stop somewear. (Maybe it's just because I have ugly toes!! Naww)

No rings for me. Toe-wise or otherwise. I can't stand having things around my digits. Hell, I've NEVER worn a wedding ring and I've been married twice!

The only ring that has stayed on me is my Claddagh wedding band. Did the earring thing when I was younger. Decided that they did not look good on this fat olde geezer.

No toe rings, I do have a lone earring in my left ear, very plain. Stopped wearing rings years ago, too many opportunities at the time for them to get snagged on something and me lose a finger, same with a watch.
