SouthernScot Got Married
Just so you'll know, we marched ole SouthernScot to the altar at claymore point and let Tammy make him an honest man this evening. He didn't even cry.
I thought you might enjoy the photos. That's me officiating:

I arrived early to assure that all was appropriately reverent.

Lest anyone should question whether ole southernscot "did the right thing." Or maybe it was Tammy who did that.

Scott has no idea we had a piper to do the honors. Stephen Beaton of Suwanee, GA did a terrific job. You should have seen Scott's face when we were ready to come in and the piper started the drones.

Five kids between them! We insisted on their reading the book, "Where Babies Come From and How to Stop Them." Scott said, "I always thought it was the water."
Needless to say it was a wonderful evening. I finished the service off with a handfasting ceremony after they had exchanged rings and said a blessin in Gaelic, Spanish, and English. (Tammy is part Puerton Rican.)
Once I pronounced them man-and-wife and told them to go to their corners and come our fighting, Scott placed his family taran (Lamont) on her shoulder to welcome her into his family.
A proper wedding all in all.
