    That's interesting. I hadn't come across a sgien dubh with that type of blade. I've been looking at the daywear type on the sgien dubh page for a while now.

    That bone carving that you describe sounds really neat. Kind of like reverse scrimshaw. Sounds very nice.
    I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
