I thought for sure 'balled up on the floor' would be an option, as much as it gets mentioned in these discussions.

I use the two hanger w/ clip method. It seems to work best for me.

Two hanger method works for me. Does the job for the least cupboard space used.

The two hanger option for me also. One hanger clipped to the two apron pieces and one hanger clipped to the inner apron and the pleats.

    Kilt Storage

One hanger, (with clips, but since reading this, I'm going to two hangers,) in a closet lined with cedar -chip board.

I have mine on a hanger that keeps the kilt tight at the top, allowing it to hang straight.

I mostly use the one hanger method. I fold the kilt in half so one strap is even with the other and the fold that in half again, pleats out, and clamp the bugger. This only works well with lighter kilts though. FOr my heavier one I use the two hanger method.

mine ends up like that most of the time. Finally hung it back up today. (I wore it yesterday though.) my mind has been working on finding a better way to hang them, one that hasn't been suggested here yet, I think I am getting closer though...
