Thanks for the tip and the "secret code".... didn't have to use the secret decoder ring. By the way, free is usually a very good price.

Thanks for the tip on the kit.
How can I be wrong? I was expressing an opinion.

Is it possible to have a wrong opinion, but I don't think it applies here. I have been tempted to try Killians, but I think I don't like beer, though all I have tried is Lite beer, though I did drink one of the Blue Moons my wife bought last week, I finished it, but can't imagine being so thirsty that I would drink it again. I think I need to get a bottle of Saki, and I do have most of a bottle of Vodka at my disposal, I just don't seem to like beer.

Foul tasting stuff, IMHO. It's like Coors just took some of their falgship brew and added some caramel to darken it, and made up some BS about it being Irish.
The recipe for Killian's was bought by Coors from a brewery in Enniscorthy in 1980's. There are no coloring agents or artificial additives used in the brewing process.

That's what Coors will tell you. The original recipe may be from a long defunct Irish brewery, but that's where the Irish-ness ends. Coors has slowly changed the beer from an ale to a lager, to fit commercial US tastes (ie. bland). You won't find this beer in Ireland, nor would it sell, I'd wager.
The same sort of thing has happened to many European beers that have been mass produced in the US. I am sure today's Budweiser tastes a lot different than it did 50/75/100 years ago.
I still see this product hawked as an import, which it certainly is not.
At no point did I say Coors added flavoring, or color, or caramel...I just said it seemed as such, by it's taste. It is slighty sweet, bland, and IMHO, not suitable for drinking.
The US has a horrible reputation in the beer drinkers world, but it is due to the big breweries making products such as this (don't get me started on Michelobe Ultra) There are so many great beers in the US. It's a shame.
I didn't mean to hijack this thread, I just offered an opinion, and then was told my opinion was wrong. Opinions are not right or wrong.

This beer has no hops, that's why it has the slightly sweet taste.

I assume it's that little "book" on the site explaining on how to do a beer tasting (look, swirl, aroma, taste, cleanse, etc.)
but who cares, it's FREE!
