Instead of a white sport coat and a pink carnation, you'll need (everyone sing along, now):
"A white
PC,
and a silk
dan-de-li-on.
I'm all dreesed up
For a hike.
A white
PC,
and a silk
dan-de-li-on.
That's the kind of clothes
I like."

When given a choice, most people will choose.

Y'know white tailcoats that could be modified are not difficult to come by ... No on reflection, I will have to hold out for a white Sherriffmuir doublet and tartan waistcoat. But what tartan, hmmmm
In my own defense, we held a fund-raiser Sunday evening billed as "garden party attire." I was the only kilt, but the afternoon temps were pushing 90, and we allocated our full weekly quota of seersucker suits, summer frocks, and big floppy hats with attitude. Still pondering the concept of a seersucker kilt suit. Edit: did I forget to mention dirty bucks? Plenty of those, but no white bucks for some reason.

White shoes are usually only worn after May 1st, except in the tropics and the navy.
Historical tit-bit: It's called a "seersucker suit" because Sears will sell it to any sucker who comes along! (from the book, "So You're Going To Wear a Suit", by Thomas J. Charlesson, Grey Flannel Press, (third expanded edition) 1973.)

For Ron it really should be:
A white sporran and a Pink Dalmatian,
I'm just dressed up to dance.
That's a White sporran and a Pink Dalmatian,
I just can't wear any pants...............

So, I got to wondering if that "look" would work with kilts? At least at the level of a white sporran (does such an item even exist??) and white shoes with a kilt.
Found an old pic with my USA Kilts semi-trad in Dress Gordon tartan with white shoes. Don't have photo shop so tried to get the effect with Paint.
Hope I'm not making anyone too ill.....
God help me and take me to the olde folks home....I think it might kinda maybe work....

RON, To make it "work" you need
1. a white belt.
2. WHITE HOSE
3. White "piper's SPATS.
Oh, yeh, a WHITE GOLF Cart.to ride around the neighborhood ( think Phoenix )
Here is my idea
